Samira El Khafir is a Melbourne-based cook/public figure who gained national recognition as a finalist in the 2013 season of MasterChef Australia. She was the founder of Modern Middle Eastern, a café in Melbourne, Eat with Love, an online low carb business, and the author of the cookbook Eat With Love.

In addition to her culinary achievements, Samira has been deeply involved in community initiatives. She served as an ambassador for A Taste of Harmony, led food sustainability workshops across Melbourne, and hosted exclusive Arabian Night Private Fine Dining Six-Course Banquet events at the Islamic Museum of Australia.

Now shifting focus to a new chapter in the food world, Samira is set to return to MasterChef Australia for its 17th season in 2025, continuing her commitment to showcasing history, food, and culture.
